일본 ‘닛칸스포츠’는 13일 AKB48의 프로듀서 아키모토 야스시가 오는 11월 7일 발매되는 방탄소년단 싱글 타이틀 곡 ‘Bird’ 작사에 참여했다고 보도했다.

제작에 참여한 프로듀서 '아키모토 야스시'는 일본의 유명 프로듀서이긴 하지만 아베의 정책에 적극 참여하는 등 우익 논란이 있는 인물이다.

아키모토 야스시가 직접 작사한 가사에는 여성 비하, 미성년자 성적 대상화 등 선정적인 내용을 다룬데다가 우익 작사가로 알려져 있다.

BTS의 팬인 'ARMY'는 우익·여성 혐오·미성년자 성적 대상화 논란이 있는 프로듀서와의 작업은 이해할 수 없다는 입장을 밝혔다.

더불어 “해당 앨범 그대로 진행한다면 그 앨범 불매운동 한다. 불매로 인한 것보다 당장의 아티스트 이미지의 실추로 인한 피해가 분명히 더 크다”고 말했다.

이 콜라보는 방탄소년단의 소속사 빅히트엔터테인먼트의 수장인 방시혁 대표에 의해 이뤄졌다.

한편 방탄소년단의 팬들'ARMY'은 BTS에게 우익이라는 이미지가 생길까봐 걱정하고 있다.

Japan's Nikkan Sports reported on Wednesday that AKB48 producer Yasushi Akimoto participated in the song "Bird," which will be released on November 7.

Although Yasushi Akimoto is a famous Japanese producer, he is a controversial character who actively participates in Abe's policy.

The lyrics, written by Yasushi Akimoto himself, contain suggestive details such as female demeaning and sexual exploitation of minors, and are known as right-wing lyricists.

"ARMY," a fan of the BTS, said, "I don't understand the work with producers who have a controversy over right-wing, misogyny, and sexual objectification of young people."

And said, "If agency proceed with the album as it is, we will boycott the album. The loss of the artist`s image is clearly greater than that caused by the boycott."

The collaboration between BTS and Yasushi Akimoto was made by Bang Si-hyuk, the head of Big Hit Entertainment.

Fans 'ARMY' are worried that BTS will have a right-wing image.
